Stuck on a math or science concept?

You are not the problem.

Nesalio is a voice tutor for Secondary 4-5 and CEGEP. It finds the concept that is really blocking you and explains it again by drawing, just like in class. Without giving you the answer.

Sound familiar?

It is almost never you. It is a concept that was never consolidated, or a word problem nobody taught you to break down.

  • Facing the problem

You read the word problem three times and still do not know where to start.

  • At night, alone with homework

In class it seemed clear. At home nothing works, and nobody is there to help.

  • The night before the test

You redid the same exercises, or copied an answer key. But you feel you could not do it again alone.

Does this happen to you often?

What we heard in interviews

A Secondary 5 student

In math, what blocks her is reading and understanding word problems. Her strategy: redo similar exercises, again and again.

Nobody is there at night to break the problem down with her, one step at a time.

A CEGEP math teacher with 25 years of experience

He sees 20 to 25% of his students falling behind by week 3 to 5 of the term, often because of gaps left over from high school.

Validation interviews conducted by Nesalio, September 2026. Summarized, names withheld.

A session in 4 steps

A tutor that works with you, one concept at a time.

  1. You ask your question

    Out loud, from your exercise.

  2. It finds what blocks you

A concept from earlier, or a problem not broken down.

  3. It explains by drawing

And you can interrupt whenever you want.

  4. It checks you understood

One question to make sure you can do it alone.

Are you a parent?

No need to know the subject: every week, you know where your child stands.

Frequently asked questions

What is Nesalio?

Nesalio is an AI-powered voice tutor for Secondary 4 and 5 and CEGEP students in Québec. The student asks their question out loud. Nesalio finds the concept that is really blocking them, then explains it again by drawing it step by step, following the Québec curriculum and the method taught in class. It guides without giving the answer and checks that the student can do it again alone. Parents get a progress report every week.

Who is Nesalio for?

For Secondary 4 and 5 students (CST, TS and SN math, physics, chemistry, ST and STE science) and for CEGEP science students (differential and integral calculus, linear algebra, physics, chemistry). It is also for parents who want to help their child without knowing the subject.

How much will Nesalio cost?

The price is not set yet: we will decide it with the first families who try it. The 15-minute demo is free, with no commitment.

When can I use it?

Access opens gradually, starting with the first people who sign up. We will email you, or text you if you prefer, as soon as Nesalio opens.

Do I pay anything now?

No. The demo is free and we never ask for a card. Leave your email and we will write to set a time.

Is it cheating?

No. Nesalio does not do your homework for you. It explains, asks you questions and checks that you can do it again alone. On the test, you are the one who knows.

How is it different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT and Gemini have study modes that guide without giving the answer, and that is a good thing. Nesalio goes further: it follows the Québec curriculum and the method taught in class, it draws the explanation while it talks, and it remembers what you were stuck on last week.

My concept is not on the list.
